ENA Chapter 134 Course Information
Course Fees & Application:
Course Fees & Application should be received one month prior to the course. For self payers, manuals will not be mailed until payment is received. Once manuals are mailed, the cost of the manual and shipping are non-refundable for all students. Substitutions must be approved by the course director. All substitutions must occur more than 30 days before the course. Courses fill up quickly and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration will be limited to space availability. Course fee includes course materials. If you have any special needs, please contact the course director at least 30 days prior to the course.
Course cancellation policy:
Course registrants should contact the course director by email or phone as early as possible when they find that they cannot attend a course. Two weeks notice is preferred. Your registration may be able to be transferred to another course hosted by Chapter 134 one time only. If you are unable to attend the course and do not notify the course director prior to the start of the course, no refund will be given and your application will not be transferred to another course.
Course descriptions:
Trauma Nursing Course Course (TNCC)
TNCC is widely recognized as the premier course for hospitals and trauma centers worldwide, empowers nurses with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and hands-on training to provide expert care for trauma patients, rapid identification of life-threatening injuries, comprehensive patient assessment, and enhanced interventions for better patient outcomes.
ENA developed TNCC to establish a standardized body of trauma nursing knowledge and to improve the care of all trauma patients. This seventh edition course combines interactive learning with scenario-based assessments to give nurses a comprehensive learning experience.
Verification and Contact Hours: RN candidates with successful completion will receive the ENA TNCC 4-year provider verification card. All attendees will be awarded a contact hour certificate with appropriate contact hours. 19.5 contact hours will be awarded for course completion.
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
ENPC is the authoritative course for pediatric emergency nursing provides for accurate assessment of a child with an acute illness or injury and gives nurses the tools to provide expert care for patients from birth to adolescence. A systematic approach to initial assessment, hands on training using individual and team approach is taught in this two-day intensive course with expert instructors and evidence based content developed by pediatric emergency nurse experts.
ENA developed ENPC to establish a standardized body of emergency nursing knowledge and to improve the care of all infants and children. This fourth edition course combines interactive learning with scenario-based assessments to give nurses a comprehensive learning experience.
Verification and Contact Hours: RN candidates with successful completion will receive the ENA ENPC 4-year provider verification card. All attendees will be awarded a certificate with 18.25 CNE hours for full course attendance and completion.
