Overview

A one-day virtual symposium with speakers presenting a variety of trauma/surgery topics to the entire group of attendees.

Objectives

• compare current standards of care to a trauma-informed care standard of practice

• differentiate physiologic differences in geriatric patients as compared to younger patients that make them

• identify tools and technology available for aiding resuscitation or diagnosis of injuries

• collaborate across multiple disciplines, utilizing good communication techniques in critical patient
