Many organizations assist with preventative services and helping the
victims escape abuse. But, what happens when they have left the cycle?
How do we keep these women from returning to abuse or potentially
reentering another abusive situation? The conference will focus on how
to helpclients become self-sufficient by developing their strength
and other necessary tools to reach their full potential, and hopefully
escape abuse once and for all. We believe together we can build a
community without violence and establish healthy families. We can
strive toward meaningful and healthier lives for now andgenerations
to come. This training will feature Ms. Ruth Glenn, the Executive Director of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch, meet and greet with the keynote speaker, workshop and conference materials. For more information, email: mcasillas@indianalatinocoalition.org.
