This course is intended for nurses and advanced practice providers who have completed the didactic 40-hour Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner-Adult/Adolescent course. Throughout this clinical course, students will have an opportunity to practice hands-on clinical skills with live patient models and will complete a forensic medical examination from start to finish. Students will learn more in depth information and practice with skills such as: photography, strangulation assessment, speculum examinations, foley catheter technique, use of alternative light source, application of TB dye, court room testimony, human trafficking and more.

This course includes 16.5 hours of CEUs.
