Expand your nursing knowledge and make a difference in the lives of children. The IU Academic-Practice Partnership for Forensic Nursing is hosting a Pediatric SANE Didactic Course for registered nurses seeking the opportunity to practice as a Pediatric Forensic Nurse.

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Pediatric Didactic Course – a six-week training that begins February 4, 2025 – will fulfill the didactic requirement for training in pediatric forensic nursing care. Content of the course will include trauma-informed care, prepubescent anatomy and physiology, growth and development, documentation, evidence collection, discharge planning and more.
